Exhibitions

Our Exhibitions Program brings quality visual arts into regional and remote areas. We support regional Queensland communities and visual artists.

We are devoted to curating, supporting and touring high-quality visual art exhibitions to a variety of large and small traditional and non-‘art’ spaces.

thinking making

MIXED MEDIA + RESOURCES
An exhibition developed in partnership with Cairns Regional Gallery

WHAT IS ART (WITH A CAPITAL ‘A’) ALL ABOUT WHEN YOU’RE UNDER 10 YEARS OLD?

thinking making is designed as a fun and stimulating exhibition experience for children and their communities around art, ideas and how they are made real. The program has been developed in partnership with Cairns Regional Gallery. It is creatively and thematically focussed on a selection of works from their Moving Sculptures Project, an innovative education program that toured schools in regional Queensland.

thinking making is all about empowering audiences with art-making activities and resources for children and their associated adults and educators - brain-on and hands-on - whilst furnishing a fabulous collection of work from Far North Queensland sculptors.
